DORSA AMIR is an evolutionary anthropologist interested in how differing cultural and ecological environments shape the developing mind. Her research explores the diversity of human behavior from a cross-cultural, developmental perspective. Currently, she is investigating environmental variation in the development of risk & time preferences, early life socioeconomic effects on behavior, and the role of scarcity in cognitive development, among other projects.
Amir is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Cooperation Lab at Boston College and the BC Virtue Project.
