JIMMY WALES Is the founder and Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Wikimedia Foundation, a non-profit corporation that operates Wikipedia, the online encyclopedia, and several other wiki projects. He is also founder of the for-profit company Wikia, Inc., which is legally unrelated to Wikimedia.
In May 2006, Wales was named one of TIME magazine's 100 most influential people.
