KRISTIN LAUREN, Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior, Stanford Graduate School of Business, is Louise & Claude N. Rosenberg Jr. Faculty Scholar for 2014-2015.
Her research agenda focuses on two areas: (a) understanding how people’s beliefs and ideologies can affect their ability to self-regulate in pursuit of their goals; and (b) understanding the motivated nature of beliefs and ideologies themselves. Her research appears in academic journals such as the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology andPsychological Science. She received her PhD in Social Psychology from the University of Waterloo.
