PATRICK FORBER is an associate professor of philosophy in the School of Arts and Sciences at Tufts University. He spends most his research time thinking and writing about biology and philosophy. He has an interest in understanding confirmation, explanation, and idealization in science, especially in evolutionary biology and ecology.
Forber holds a M.S. in Biological Sciences and a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Stanford University. He also holds a B.S. in General Biology and a B.A. in Philosophy from John Muir College at the University of California, San Diego.
