STEVE LOHR is senior writer and technology reporter for The New York Times. He was a foreign correspondent for the Times for a decade, based in Tokyo, Manila and London. He has had articles published in several magazines including The New York Times Magazine, The Atlantic Monthly and The Washington Monthly. And he was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize in 1998 for coverage of Microsoft and its antitrust battle with the United States Government.
He is the author of Go To: The Story of the Math Majors, Bridge Players, Engineers, Chess Wizards, Maverick Scientists and Iconoclasts—the Programmers who Created the Software Revolution, and Data-ism.
